How much does it cost to have a new timing belt put in my 2003 hyundai tiburon?

...I heard you were suppose to get a new one around 60,000 miles or something like that. I just need an estimate of how much the belt itself would cost and then how much the labor would be. I was also wondering about around how many miles i should get a full service/maintnence check on it. (brake, spark plugs, tires, hoses, fluids...etc.) and also how much that would cost. If anyone knows, that would be awesome. How much does it cost to have a new timing belt put in my 2003 hyundai tiburon?Yes, you need to change the belt at 60,000 miles, the belt is only like $30, but it takes about 3-4 hours of labor, so add about $300-350 in labor to that. Unless you have platinum plugs, then you are due for replacement now and that service is about $120, to inspect your hoses, brakes etc should be free or $50 tops. You should have your transmission and coolant flushed at 60,000 miles too, about another $200-250 for both, cheaper then a $2300 transmission replacement and $500 for a new radiator though. How much does it cost to have a new timing belt put in my 2003 hyundai tiburon?a new timing belt can be anywhere from $200-300+ depending on wether you have a SE or a GT and the labor should'nt be too much extra.

60,000-75,000 miles you should get everything checked out. im not sure how much it would cost. it varries greatly from place to place, especially if you compare dealer pricing to your average joe auto mechanic.

hope this helps.
