I have a 99 honda Civic. I first replace a timing belt when it was like 70,000 miles. right now, it is at 135,000 miles... Also on a civic you should check on the price of replacing the water pump . It is behind the belt and usually doesn't cost much more . If you don't do it same time and a little later goes bad , you will have to pay price for removing belt anyway , so why not save some money ?
