My car wont start its a Toyota st141 model the timing belt is not turning at all?

i need too know what has broken it cant be the timing belt as it is still tight, i have not got a book on the car, the engine turns over fine but isntturning the belt does anyone no how to fix it pleaseMy car wont start its a Toyota st141 model the timing belt is not turning at all?If you can peep through, just look through the timing belt. Some times it breaks and twists and overlaps where you cannot reach until you have a clear view and pull through. It all depends when was last your car came to an halt. Did you hear some nasty click, if not it is not the timing belt, if yes; were you in motion, if so definitely your valves bent, costy to replace these, it all depends how many valves gone. The possibility is only the belt was worn out hence broke, if so, it is not that expensive to change but it is a skilled job and time consuming too. If at all you are determined to do it yourself, then my advice is buy the book and do it accordingly, this way you will save time and will not be held up any where. For professional mechanics it is a two hours job. Good luck.My car wont start its a Toyota st141 model the timing belt is not turning at all?A toyota wont start.... That is a question? My car wont start its a Toyota st141 model the timing belt is not turning at all?Sounds like a broken timming belt sprocket or a broken cam shafts.you need to get a repair manual.Try and not to keep cranking the engine there is a 0 tollerance on these engines that means you could smack the top of the piston on the valve and cause more damage
