How much will it cost to replace timing belt and motor mounts?

I have a 2001 Ford focus ZX3. Zetec engine with dual overhead cam. Is having all this replaced going to be expensive? Because my motor vibrates and I also have 85,000 miles on it. I don't want to pay the expensive price offered at the dealership. I want to go somewhere thats not so expensive but will do a good job. Everyone's advice is appreciatedHow much will it cost to replace timing belt and motor mounts?timing belt around $350 but Expect charges at a new-car dealership to be slightly higher. How much will it cost to replace timing belt and motor mounts?Do not I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALER, THEY WILL TAKE YOU AND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Its not going to be cheap, parts are not the problem, its the labor. Timing belt, the front of the engine has to come off, ie, fan, what ever is in the way to gain access, radiator, fan belts, timing belt cover, water pump. Just a guess, $400/to $700.00. I know im high, on the price but, expect the unexpected. If you have any experience, motor mounts are not that hard to replace. You need a jack (sturdy one, FLOOR JACK) AND MAYBE A 2X4 PIECE OF WOOD. Soak the motor mount bolts with WD40, for 24 hours, this will ease the removal. Jack up one side of the car, make sure u put the 2x4 on top of the floor jackm because you are going to raise the ENGINE, NOT THE CAR. Suggest you go to the local library, Check out a CHILTON MANUEL, that references ur YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL OF YOUR CAR. This book is worth its weight in GOLD. It details Removal and installaion of your problem. Follow it to the LETTER. Good Luck, THE INSPECTOR
